As an experiment, I've been hard at work designing our new blog. I figure it might be fun to watch a new anime, give you all a summary and share my insights while I'm at it. I've never blogged about anime before and it could be fun. For now, I'm just blogging about a 12 part anime called: Seiken no Blacksmith (Sacred Blacksmith) which is new for this Fall. So apparently there are new episodes of The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya being aired. I was finally able to confirm it and find the first episode. You can find it in this thread here:  http://www.kyotoanime.net/forumx/index.php?topic=200.0

Note that although these new episodes are a Season 2 of sorts, they from what I understand won't air in a row. Unless I'm misunderstanding, the new episodes go between various episodes of the first season. The first new one released is supposed to be #8. Confused? heh. So it may be some time before the next one comes out.
