So apparently there are new episodes of The melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya being aired. I was finally able to confirm it and find the first episode. You can find it in this thread here:  http://www.kyotoanime.net/forumx/index.php?topic=200.0

Note that although these new episodes are a Season 2 of sorts, they from what I understand won't air in a row. Unless I'm misunderstanding, the new episodes go between various episodes of the first season. The first new one released is supposed to be #8. Confused? heh. So it may be some time before the next one comes out.

I was tempted to title this news as "The nightmare of Yahoo".  There's a long and a short version of why we appeared to be gone from the internet. I realize we only have a handful of active members, but I still found the whole situation frustrating. I really apologize to everyone who still visits if we gave you a scare. Rest assured, my love for anime and this website won't die that easily.  Now, maybe I will actually get around  to fixing the issue with internet explorer that makes KA look like garbage. haha

The first item of news is that there will be a server upgrade tonight so just a heads up. We don't anticipate any downtime but be aware there could always be a possibility of it.

The other thing I'd like to announce is that we have now added extra tough bot and spammer protection to the registration pages.  So for all of you lame-o bots who came posting links from anything from porn to advertising your crappy free webhost, I won't miss you one bit. So long and good riddance.
